Syphillis is one of these infections, which is on the increase,you may not get any symptons. It can take up to 90 days to be detected after acquiring this infection. It is detected via a blood test. Oral sex without a condom, is a way of transmitting SYPHLIS.

Other tests will be undertaken depending on the information provided to the Health Care Professional. We also provide advice and support.
Advise on Pep and Prep
If someone is HIV positive and has an undectable viral load this means can can not pass on the HIV infection
(Undetctable = Untransmissable)
ALL TEST ARE TAKEN IN A PRIVATE ROOM TO PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY
These tests are carried out via a blood test. swabs from the throat, bottom and a urine sample. Test results will take on average 7 to 10 days to come back.
In certain circumstances blood results can come back within 3 days, this will be discussed by the person undertaking your tests.
Vaccinations to help protect against Hepatities B can also be offered at ME1 Hepatitis B is an infection that is 100 times more infectious than HIV. this can lead to cirrohosis of the liver as well as liver cancer.
There is also avaiable to Men who have sex with men under 46 years of age the vaccine the help protect them against the HPV virus, but this will need to be given via a main line sexual health service.
